Thought For The Week

The Bible is full of God’s promises. Let’s look at some of his promises to all those whose trust is in him. Are you feeling anxious and frustrated? God has a promise for you. ‘Cast all your anxiety on him (God) because he cares for you.’
Do you feel isolated and alone? God says, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’
Maybe you can’t forgive yourself for something you have said or done, or for something you have not said or not done – and that can be just as hard. If that’s how you feel, God has a promise for you. ‘If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.’
And there is a promise for you if life is hard, and you feel you just can’t cope. God says, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’
(1 Peter 5:7, Hebrews 13:5, 1 John 1:9, 2 Corinthians 12:9)
